12 - Interlocking guards without guard locking

Last edit: 13/07/2023

To ensure that a hazardous zone cannot be reached before the risk has been adequately reduced when an interlocking device without guard locking is opened, the separation distance must be calculated using the following formula:

S=(K∙T)+DGT

Where:
K=1600 [mm]
DGT is the distance reachable through an opening of dimension e, as defined in ISO 13857.
