Reaching through regular openings

As previously seen in the case of upper limbs, also for lower limbs the Standard gives a table, shown above, to which refer in order to define the minimum safety distance for the hazard zone, according to the dimensions of the opening.

Reaching through irregular openings

For the calculation of the safety distance for the lower limbs in the case of irregularly shaped openings, it is necessary to follow the same passages reported for the contact through irregular openings by the upper limbs.
