TP 2: Safety of Industrial Furnaces

Last edit: 27/10/2023

Training objective

The training objective is to be able to design a safe Installation of an Industrial Thermoprocessing Equipment (ITE). That involves both the Combustion and fuel handling systems and its Protective Systems. The training details the prescriptions contained in the following standards:

EN 746-2: 2010 – Industrial thermoprocessing equipment Safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems

ISO 13577-2: 2024 – Industrial furnaces and associated processing equipment. Part 2: Combustion and fuel handling systems

ISO 13577-4: 2022 – Industrial furnaces and associated processing equipment. Part 4: Protective systems
