Type tests

To ensure that the safety function of the device is granted, appropriate functional tests shall be perfomed, in order to ensure that the given device will operate correctly across the specified range of operational conditions. It is also necessary to consider various factor that may affect the normal functioning of the safety system.

Proof tests

The manufacturer shall specify in the instructions all necessary information to enable the user to perform functional the proof tests.
