Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, le bo\u00eetier est con\u00e7u pour <strong>r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la pression g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par une explosion interne<\/strong>, emp\u00eacher sa transmission vers l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur et garantir qu&rsquo;aucune inflammation de l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re environnante ne se produise. Cela n\u00e9cessite des bo\u00eetiers fabriqu\u00e9s avec des mat\u00e9riaux et des solutions de construction capables d&rsquo;assurer une r\u00e9sistance m\u00e9canique \u00e9lev\u00e9e et une stabilit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme, m\u00eame dans des conditions de fonctionnement difficiles.<\/p>\n<p>Un autre aspect cl\u00e9 de ce type de protection est le r\u00f4le des <strong>joints du bo\u00eetier<\/strong>, qui sont con\u00e7us pour permettre l&rsquo;\u00e9vacuation contr\u00f4l\u00e9e des gaz g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par une explosion interne, en les refroidissant et en emp\u00eachant ainsi qu&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;enflamment l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re ext\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n<p>La protection Ex d fait partie de <strong>la s\u00e9rie IEC 60079<\/strong> plus large, qui couvre les diff\u00e9rents aspects de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des \u00e9quipements utilis\u00e9s dans des atmosph\u00e8res explosives. Dans ce cadre, la norme <strong>IEC 60079-1 d\u00e9finit les exigences sp\u00e9cifiques relatives \u00e0 la conception et \u00e0 la construction des bo\u00eetiers antid\u00e9flagrants<\/strong>, tandis que d&rsquo;autres normes de la s\u00e9rie traitent d&rsquo;aspects compl\u00e9mentaires tels que les exigences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales (IEC 60079-0), l&rsquo;installation (IEC 60079-14) et la maintenance (IEC 60079-17).
