Les deux mesures importantes sont les suivantes :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>180 mm<\/strong> est la taille maximale d&rsquo;une fente verticale ou horizontale, utile pour emp\u00eacher une personne de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans la zone prot\u00e9g\u00e9e ;<\/li>\n<li><strong>240 mm<\/strong> est la taille maximale d&rsquo;une ouverture carr\u00e9e ou circulaire, utile pour emp\u00eacher une personne d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la zone dangereuse :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>[ISO 13857 : 2019] <strong>4.4 Prise en compte de l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s de l&rsquo;ensemble du corps<\/strong><br \/>\nLes structures de protection avec des ouvertures \u00e0 fente de e &gt; 180 mm et des ouvertures carr\u00e9es ou rondes de e &gt; 240 mm (voir 4.2.4.1) ne doivent pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es sans mesures de protection suppl\u00e9mentaires, car elles peuvent permettre l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s de tout le corps.<br \/>\nLes structures de protection d&rsquo;une hauteur inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1 400 mm, conform\u00e9ment au tableau 2, ne doivent pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es sans mesures de protection suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>En outre, le risque d&rsquo;enjamber une protection est trait\u00e9 en \u00e9tablissant qu&rsquo;une hauteur de <strong>1 400 mm est suffisante pour consid\u00e9rer l&rsquo;enjambement comme un comportement incorrect et non raisonnablement pr\u00e9visible.<\/strong> Cette hauteur est importante, car une personne peut \u00e9galement escalader une barri\u00e8re de 2 m ou plus. Il est donc important de savoir que la l\u00e9gislation technique harmonis\u00e9e consid\u00e8re que 1,4 m est suffisant pour s\u00e9parer une zone. Il convient de noter que certaines normes de type C rel\u00e8vent cette limite.<strong> Les hauteurs inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 1 400 mm n\u00e9cessitent des mesures de protection (ou de r\u00e9duction des risques) suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le doute porte<strong> sur les mesures de protection suppl\u00e9mentaires qui peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es<\/strong>. Commen\u00e7ons par la d\u00e9finition d&rsquo;une mesure de protection :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[ISO 12100 : 2010] 3 Termes et d\u00e9finitions<br \/>\n<strong>3.19 Mesure de protection<\/strong>. Mesure destin\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les risques, mise en \u0153uvre<br \/>\n\u23af <strong>par le concepteur<\/strong> (conception intrins\u00e8quement s\u00fbre, mesures de sauvegarde et de protection compl\u00e9mentaires, informations pour l&rsquo;utilisation) et\/ou<br \/>\n\u23af <strong>par l&rsquo;utilisateur<\/strong> (organisation : proc\u00e9dures de travail s\u00fbres, supervision, syst\u00e8mes de permis de travail ; fourniture et utilisation de mesures de protection compl\u00e9mentaires ; utilisation d&rsquo;\u00e9quipements de protection individuelle ; formation).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Un panneau interdisant le franchissement d&rsquo;une barri\u00e8re de 1,4 m de haut est donc une \u00ab\u00a0mesure de protection\u00a0\u00bb. Toutefois, cela ne signifie pas qu&rsquo;il est possible d&rsquo;utiliser syst\u00e9matiquement des barri\u00e8res de moins de 1,4 m et d&rsquo;apposer le panneau \u00ab\u00a0Interdiction de franchir\u00a0\u00bb.<strong> Il faut proc\u00e9der \u00e0 une \u00e9valuation sinc\u00e8re et v\u00e9ritable des risques<\/strong>, en analysant toutes les possibilit\u00e9s et en ne laissant le panneau qu&rsquo;en \u00ab\u00a0dernier recours\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\nPar exemple, dans une grande ligne de transport de billettes, o\u00f9 la cha\u00eene qui les d\u00e9place a une hauteur de 1 m, il n&rsquo;est pas possible d&rsquo;installer une barri\u00e8re de 1,4 m, car les barres ne pourraient plus sortir. En revanche, il est possible, par exemple, d&rsquo;installer une barri\u00e8re optique \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;une fonction d&rsquo;inhibition, qui laisse sortir les barres et emp\u00eache le personnel d&rsquo;entrer.<\/p>\n<p>Dans tous les cas, la norme consid\u00e8re que les structures inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 1000 mm ne sont pas adapt\u00e9es pour limiter l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s. <strong>En d&rsquo;autres termes, une structure de moins d&rsquo;un m\u00e8tre, avec un panneau \u00ab\u00a0No climb over\u00a0\u00bb, n&rsquo;est en aucun cas consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme appropri\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[ISO 13857:2019] Note b au tableau 1 et au tableau 2 :<br \/>\nLes structures de protection d&rsquo;une hauteur inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 1 000 mm ne sont
