Compte tenu de la puissance du moteur exprim\u00e9e en HP, le FLC repr\u00e9sente le courant maximal qui peut \u00eatre absorb\u00e9 par le moteur dans le cas le plus d\u00e9favorable.<\/p>\n<p>Chaque composant du circuit de d\u00e9rivation (conducteurs, fusibles, disjoncteurs, etc.), \u00e0 l&rsquo;exception des relais de surcharge, doit \u00eatre dimensionn\u00e9 en fonction du FLC ; en effet, une fois la puissance du moteur fix\u00e9e en HP, le FLC repr\u00e9sente le courant le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que peut absorber le moteur \u00e9valu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette puissance.
