Aux \u00c9tats-Unis et au Canada, ce syst\u00e8me de mise \u00e0 la terre est appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Solidly Grounded Wye<\/strong>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>Si un point neutre ou un point m\u00e9dian n&rsquo;est pas disponible ou accessible, un conducteur de ligne doit \u00eatre mis \u00e0 la terre ; c&rsquo;est ce que les Nord-Am\u00e9ricains appellent<strong> <b>Corner grounded Delta<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0; ce syst\u00e8me est rarement utilis\u00e9 en Europe. La mise \u00e0 la terre du neutre est la premi\u00e8re caract\u00e9ristique d&rsquo;un syst\u00e8me TN. <strong>La seconde<\/strong> est que les parties conductrices expos\u00e9es de l&rsquo;installation doivent \u00eatre reli\u00e9es par un conducteur de protection \u00e0 la borne principale de mise \u00e0 la terre de l&rsquo;installation, qui doit \u00eatre reli\u00e9e au point de mise \u00e0 la terre du syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;alimentation \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En d&rsquo;autres termes<\/strong>, le point neutre est mis \u00e0 la terre et toutes les parties conductrices expos\u00e9es sont connect\u00e9es directement au point neutre. La raison de la cr\u00e9ation de la boucle de d\u00e9faut est de s&rsquo;assurer, en cas de d\u00e9faut,<strong> qu&rsquo;il y a une circulation de courant de haute valeur dans la boucle de d\u00e9faut.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ce courant de haute valeur a une \u00ab\u00a0mission\u00a0\u00bb : ouvrir une protection du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du d\u00e9part et mettre le circuit hors tension avant que le d\u00e9faut ne soit dangereux pour une personne.<\/p>\n<p>Le tableau 41.1 dans 411.3.2.2 prescrit le temps de d\u00e9connexion maximal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>[IEC 60364-4-41] 411.3.2.2 Le temps de d\u00e9connexion maximal indiqu\u00e9 dans le tableau 41.1 doit \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9 aux circuits finaux dont le courant assign\u00e9 ne d\u00e9passe pas
