Le 9 janvier 2024, la nouvelle \u00e9dition de Industrial Machinery NFPA 79<\/strong>, la norme \u00e9lectrique pour les machines industrielles aux \u00c9tats-Unis, a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e. Elle sera valable pour les trois prochaines ann\u00e9es<\/p>\n

Voici les principaux changements par rapport \u00e0 l’\u00e9dition 2021.<\/p>\n

  1. Plaque d\u2019identification de l\u2019enveloppe de contr\u00f4le industriel : SCCR (Courant assign\u00e9 de court-circuit)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Avec la nouvelle \u00e9dition de janvier 2024, il sera pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que, dans le cas d’un \u00e9quipement \u00e9lectrique compos\u00e9 de plusieurs enveloppes de contr\u00f4le<\/strong>, l\u2019enveloppe de contr\u00f4le principale peut avoir 2 valeurs SCCR:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • La premi\u00e8re se r\u00e9f\u00e8re au SCCR de l\u2019enveloppe de contr\u00f4le elle-m\u00eame, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la norme UL 508A<\/li>\n
    • La seconde se r\u00e9f\u00e8re au SCCR de l’ensemble du mat\u00e9riel \u00e9lectrique, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la norme NFPA 79.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      La deuxi\u00e8me valeur SCCR (\u00e9quipement \u00e9lectrique entier) peut donc \u00eatre inf\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re (enveloppe de contr\u00f4le principale).<\/p>\n

      [NFPA 79: 2024] A.16.4.1(6) <\/strong>The short-circuit current rating of the industrial control panel of the machine might include additional industrial control panels supplied from the industrial control panel containing the machine supply circuit disconnecting means. The short-circuit current rating of the industrial control panel of the machine as marked on the nameplate <\/em>considers the short-circuit current ratings of these additional industrial control panels.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        [NFPA 79: 2024] <\/em>5.1 Machine Supply Circuit and Disconnecting Means. 5.1.1 Machine Supply Circuit.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        5.1.9.2<\/u><\/em> Each machine supply circuit disconnecting means shall be legibly marked as Machine Supply Circuit and Disconnecting Means on or adjacent to the device and indicate the equipment it disconnects.<\/em><\/p>\n

        1. Ouverture de l\u2019enveloppe de contr\u00f4le (Protection de base)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Nous rappelons qu’\u00e0 partir de l’\u00e9dition 2021 de la norme NFPA 79, il n’est plus n\u00e9cessaire que l’ouverture des portes d’une enveloppe de contr\u00f4le soit li\u00e9e \u00e0 l’absence de tension (NFPA 79 = UL 508A)<\/p>\n

          En outre, avec la nouvelle \u00e9dition de janvier 2024, IPxxB est reconnu comme une protection suffisante contre le risque de contact direct (protection de base).<\/p>\n

          Par cons\u00e9quent, dans le cas d’une enveloppe de contr\u00f4le qui peut \u00eatre ouverte sans l’utilisation d’une cl\u00e9, l’int\u00e9rieur peut simplement \u00eatre IPxxB plut\u00f4t que d’\u00eatre compl\u00e8tement prot\u00e9g\u00e9 contre les contacts avec des parties actives.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n \n \n
