Cette technique a d&rsquo;abord \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour les appareils \u00e9lectroniques, mais <strong>elle est d\u00e9sormais \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9e pour les appareils m\u00e9caniques et \u00e9lectrom\u00e9caniques.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>L&rsquo;AMDED consiste \u00e0 examiner chaque composant d&rsquo;un produit et, pour chacun d&rsquo;entre eux, \u00e0 analyser l&rsquo;effet d&rsquo;une d\u00e9faillance al\u00e9atoire sur le produit.<\/strong> Les questions pos\u00e9es sont les suivantes : la d\u00e9faillance d&rsquo;une r\u00e9sistance sp\u00e9cifique entra\u00eenera-t-elle une d\u00e9faillance s\u00fbre, une d\u00e9faillance dangereuse ou une perte d&rsquo;\u00e9talonnage du produit ? Si la ligne de communication s\u00e9rie entre l&rsquo;A\/N et le microprocesseur est court-circuit\u00e9e, comment le produit r\u00e9agit-il ? La rupture de ce ressort entra\u00eene-t-elle une d\u00e9faillance dangereuse ou s\u00fbre ? Le taux de d\u00e9faillance de chaque composant est ainsi analys\u00e9 et les diff\u00e9rents groupes sont additionn\u00e9s. Le r\u00e9sultat final est un ensemble de donn\u00e9es de d\u00e9faillance sp\u00e9cifiques au produit qui comprend les taux de d\u00e9faillance pour chaque mode de d\u00e9faillance : les taux de d\u00e9faillance d\u00e9tect\u00e9s et non d\u00e9tect\u00e9s par les diagnostics, les calculs de la fraction de d\u00e9faillance s\u00fbre et, souvent, une explication sur la mani\u00e8re d&rsquo;utiliser les chiffres pour les calculs de v\u00e9rification de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;AMDED est parfois r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par le fabricant du produit, mais elle est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement confi\u00e9e \u00e0 des tiers.<\/p>\n<p>Il convient de souligner qu&rsquo;une AMDED fournit les taux de d\u00e9faillance, les modes de d\u00e9faillance et l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de la couverture diagnostique pour les d\u00e9faillances mat\u00e9rielles al\u00e9atoires. Il n&rsquo;inclut pas les taux de d\u00e9faillance dus \u00e0 des causes \u00ab\u00a0syst\u00e9matiques\u00a0\u00bb, notamment une installation incorrecte, des dommages involontaires, un \u00e9talonnage incorrect ou toute autre erreur humaine.<\/p>\n<p>Veuillez \u00e9galement tenir compte du fait que, pour estimer les taux de d\u00e9faillance des composants, il est \u00e9galement possible d&rsquo;utiliser des donn\u00e9es de terrain. C&rsquo;est ce que la IEC 61508-2 appelle la Route 2H.
