Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dig\u00e9e pour permettre l&rsquo;utilisation de composants \u00e9lectroniques dans les syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 critiques.<\/p>\n<p>En 1985, la Commission \u00e9lectrotechnique internationale (CEI\/IEC) a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un groupe de travail charg\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer la viabilit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration d&rsquo;une norme g\u00e9n\u00e9rique pour les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectroniques programmables destin\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans des applications de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Un groupe de travail avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 pour traiter des logiciels li\u00e9s \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Ces deux groupes de travail ont collabor\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9laboration d&rsquo;une norme internationale qui est devenue la s\u00e9rie IEC 61508, publi\u00e9e \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 90.<\/p>\n<p>Le champ d&rsquo;application initial du groupe de travail, les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectroniques programmables utilis\u00e9s pour les applications de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendu pour inclure tous les types de technologies bas\u00e9es sur l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrotechnique, les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectriques, \u00e9lectroniques et \u00e9lectroniques programmables : les syst\u00e8mes dits E\/E\/PE.<\/p>\n<p>Les parties 1 \u00e0 7 de la IEC 61508 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9es au cours de la p\u00e9riode 1998-2000. En 2005, la norme IEC\/TR 61508-0 a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e. Un processus de r\u00e9vision visant \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 jour et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la norme a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 en 2002 et s&rsquo;est achev\u00e9 avec la publication de l&rsquo;\u00e9dition 2 de la IEC 61508 en avril 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Le titre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la IEC 61508 est \u00ab\u00a0S\u00e9curit\u00e9 fonctionnelle des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectriques, \u00e9lectroniques et \u00e9lectroniques programmables (E\/E\/PE) relatifs \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Elle comporte huit parties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partie 0 : S\u00e9curit\u00e9 fonctionnelle et IEC 61508<\/li>\n<li>Partie 1 : Exigences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales<\/li>\n<li>Partie 2 : Exigences relatives aux syst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectriques\/\u00e9lectroniques\/\u00e9lectroniques programmables relatifs \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Partie 3 : Exigences relatives aux logiciels<\/li>\n<li>Partie 4 : D\u00e9finitions et abr\u00e9viations<\/li>\n<li>Partie 5 : Exemples de m\u00e9thodes pour la d\u00e9termination des niveaux d&rsquo;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Partie 6 : Lignes directrices pour l&rsquo;application des parties 2 et 3<\/li>\n<li>Partie 7 : Aper\u00e7u des techniques et des mesures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Les parties 1, 2 et 3 contiennent les exigences normatives<\/strong> et quelques parties informatives. Les parties 0, 5, 6 et 7 ne contiennent aucune exigence normative. Les parties 1, 2, 3 et 4 de <strong>la IEC 61508 sont des publications de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de base (BSP) de la IEC<\/strong>. Ce sont, \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure actuelle, les seules BSP sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 fonctionnelle.<\/p>\n<p>La IEC 61508 sert de base aux normes sectorielles et de produits. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour d\u00e9velopper des normes pour les industries de transformation, nucl\u00e9aire et ferroviaire, ainsi que pour les machines et les syst\u00e8mes d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement. Elle a influenc\u00e9, et continuera d&rsquo;influencer, le d\u00e9veloppement de syst\u00e8mes et de produits de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 E\/E\/PE dans plusieurs secteurs.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 son titre, la norme EN 50156-1 s&rsquo;applique aux syst\u00e8mes de chauffage \u00e0 eau, aux installations de chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 vapeur et aux chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 vapeur \u00e0 r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de chaleur. Les fours industriels et les \u00e9quipements de traitement associ\u00e9s (TPE) suivent les normes ISO 13849-1 et IEC 62061 pour les applications en mode demande \u00e9lev\u00e9e et IEC 61511-1 pour les syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 en mode demande faible.<\/p>\n<p>La strat\u00e9gie de mise en \u0153uvre de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 fonctionnelle se compose des \u00e9l\u00e9ments cl\u00e9s suivants :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gestion de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 fonctionnelle<\/li>\n<li>Exigences techniques pour les phases pertinentes du cycle de vie de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 applicable<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9valuation de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 fonctionnelle (FSA)<\/li>\n<li>Comp\u00e9tence des personnes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La norme couvre l&rsquo;ensemble du cycle de vie de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 : du concept initial jusqu&rsquo;au d\u00e9classement ou \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9limination du syst\u00e8me. Elle propose trois cycles de vie compl\u00e9mentaires :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Le cycle de vie global de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/strong> peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le premier.
