first:mt-0 space-y-4\">\n    <p>L&rsquo;objectif de r\u00e9duction des risques peut \u00eatre atteint par l&rsquo;\u00e9limination des dangers ou par la r\u00e9duction s\u00e9par\u00e9e ou simultan\u00e9e de chacun des deux \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui d\u00e9terminent le risque associ\u00e9:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>la gravit\u00e9<\/strong> des dommages caus\u00e9s par le danger consid\u00e9r\u00e9<\/li>\n<li><strong>la probabilit\u00e9 de survenance<\/strong> de ce dommage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>toutes les mesures de protection destin\u00e9es \u00e0 atteindre cet objectif doivent \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;ordre suivant, appel\u00e9 <strong>m\u00e9thode en trois \u00e9tapes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9tape 1<\/strong> : Mesures de conception intrins\u00e8quement s\u00fbres (Pr\u00e9vention intrins\u00e8que)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9tape 2<\/strong> : Utilisation de protecteurs, de dispositifs de protection et de mesures compl\u00e9mentaires de r\u00e9duction du risque<\/p>\n<p><strong>Etape 3<\/strong> : Informations pour l\u2019utilisationa<\/p>\n<p>Plus l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des risques est effectu\u00e9e t\u00f4t, plus la probabilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00eatre en mesure de r\u00e9duire les risques \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tape 1 est \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Plus l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation des risques est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e tardivement, plus il y a de chances que l&rsquo;\u00e9tape 3 soit utilis\u00e9e, malheureusement.
