font-text text-base normal mt-8 first:mt-0 space-y-4\">\n    <p>Dans une atmosph\u00e8re explosive, seuls des \u00e9quipements appropri\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre install\u00e9s : appropri\u00e9s signifie <strong>qu&rsquo;ils ne peuvent pas enflammer l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re explosive<\/strong>.<br \/>\nChaque appareil, qu&rsquo;il soit \u00e9lectrique ou qu&rsquo;il comporte uniquement des parties m\u00e9caniques, doit \u00eatre d\u00e9clar\u00e9 apte \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans une atmosph\u00e8re explosive donn\u00e9e. \u00c0 l&rsquo;exception des mines, o\u00f9 seuls les \u00e9quipements du Groupe I peuvent \u00eatre install\u00e9s, les \u00e9quipements peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9clar\u00e9s aptes \u00e0 \u00eatre install\u00e9s lorsqu&rsquo;il existe un risque de pr\u00e9sence de Gaz ou de Vapeurs explosifs (les vapeurs sont g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par l&rsquo;\u00e9vaporation de liquides), du Groupe II, ou de poussi\u00e8res, du Groupe III.Chaque \u00e9quipement susceptible d&rsquo;enflammer une atmosph\u00e8re explosive doit b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d&rsquo;un <strong>certain niveau de protection<\/strong> ou de R\u00e9duction des Risques, mis en \u0153uvre dans l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement lui-m\u00eame. C&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on appelle le Niveau de Protection de l&rsquo;\u00c9quipement.<\/p>\n<\/div>            <\/div>\n        \n        \n                <div class=\"clear-both\"><\/div>\n        \n\n    <\/div>\n        <\/section>\n\n    \n\n\n\n\n    \n        <section\n            data-name=\"Contenuto testuale con immagine\"\n            class=\"bow-gte-testo-media u-spacer-none\"\n            id=\"\"\n        >\n            \n<div class=\"o-text-media px-side-spacer sm:px-side-spacer-sm lg:px-side-spacer-tablet 2xl:px-side-spacer-desktop flex flex-wrap items-start md:block\">\n\n    \n                    <div class=\"mb-6 relative w-full md:mb-4 lg:mb-8 xl:mb-9\">\n                \n        <div                class=\"m-headings\"\n            >\n    \n            <\/div>\n                <\/div>\n        \n        \n                    <div class=\"relative w-full\">\n                \n<div class=\"a-text font-text text-base normal mt-8 first:mt-0 space-y-4\">\n    <p>L&rsquo;EPL indique le risque d&rsquo;inflammation intrins\u00e8que \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement, quel que soit le type de protection adopt\u00e9. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu qu\u2019il est avantageux d\u2019identifier et de marquer tous les produits en fonction de leur risque inh\u00e9rent d\u2019enflammer une atmosph\u00e8re potentiellement explosive. Cela devrait simplifier la s\u00e9lection de l\u2019\u00e9quipement.<\/p>\n<p>En voici sa d\u00e9finition :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>[IEC 60079: 2017] 3 Terms and definitions<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3.33 Equipment protection level (EPL):<\/strong> level of protection assigned to equipment based on its likelihood of becoming a source of ignition and distinguishing the differences between explosive gas atmospheres, explosive dust atmospheres, and the explosive atmospheres in mines susceptible to firedamp.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Pour les Mines<\/strong>, seuls deux niveaux sont d\u00e9finis (par analogie avec la zone 20 et la zone 21 pour la poussi\u00e8re) :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EPL Ma<\/strong>: il offre un niveau de protection \u00ab tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00bb, avec une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 suffisante pour qu&rsquo;il soit peu probable qu&rsquo;il devienne une source d&rsquo;inflammation en fonctionnement normal, lors de dysfonctionnements pr\u00e9vus ou de dysfonctionnements rares, m\u00eame s&rsquo;il est laiss\u00e9 sous tension en pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;une flamb\u00e9e de gaz.<\/li>\n<li><strong>EPL Mb<\/strong>: il offre un niveau de protection \u00ab \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00bb, avec une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 suffisante pour qu&rsquo;il soit peu probable qu&rsquo;il devienne une source d&rsquo;inflammation en fonctionnement normal ou lors de dysfonctionnements pr\u00e9visibles dans le laps de temps qui s&rsquo;\u00e9coule entre l&rsquo;apparition d&rsquo;un foyer de gaz et la mise hors tension de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pour le Gaz<\/strong>, trois niveaux de protection sont d\u00e9finis, conform\u00e9ment aux trois zones : Zone 0, Zone 1 et Zone 2<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EPL Ga:<\/strong> mat\u00e9riel pour atmosph\u00e8res gazeuses explosives, ayant un niveau de protection \u00ab tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00bb, qui n&rsquo;est pas une source d&rsquo;inflammation en:\n<ul>\n<li>fonctionnement normal<\/li>\n<li>lors de dysfonctionnements pr\u00e9vus ou<\/li>\n<li>lors de dysfonctionnements rares<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EPL Gb: <\/strong>appareils pour atmosph\u00e8res explosives gazeuses, ayant un niveau de protection \u00ab \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00bb, qui ne sont pas une source d&rsquo;inflammation en:\n<ul>\n<li>fonctionnement normal ou<\/li>\n<li>lors de dysfonctionnements pr\u00e9vus ou<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EPL Gc: <\/strong>appareils pour atmosph\u00e8res explosives gazeuses, ayant un niveau de protection \u00ab am\u00e9lior\u00e9 \u00bb, qui ne sont pas une source d&rsquo;inflammation:\n<ul>\n<li>fonctionnement normal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>et qui peuvent avoir une protection suppl\u00e9mentaire pour garantir qu&rsquo;ils restent inactifs en tant que source d&rsquo;inflammation en cas d&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nements r\u00e9guliers pr\u00e9vus (par exemple, d\u00e9faillance d&rsquo;une lampe).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pour la Poussi\u00e8re<\/strong>, trois niveaux de protection sont d\u00e9finis, en accord avec les 3 zones : Zone 20, Zone 21 et Zone 22.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EPL Da: <\/strong>Mat\u00e9riel pour atmosph\u00e8res explosives
