first:mt-0 space-y-4\">\n    <p>Robots must be equipped with a <strong>safety function<\/strong> that enables their operation at <strong>reduced speed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When this function is enabled, the speed of the manipulator, or better, of the <strong>Tool Central Point (TCP)<\/strong>, must not exceed <strong>250 mm\/s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Previously, reduced-speed manual mode was also known as manual reduced-speed, <strong>T1 or teach.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This function becomes necessary, for example, when the operator is in the robot&#8217;s operating space and needs to be able to move the robot: this is where the reduced speed function comes into play, allowing the robot to be moved safely despite being in its operating range.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, in addition to the reduced speed, other precautions must be taken, i.e:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the robot cannot move automatically but must be controlled manually by means of a hand-held hand control; and<\/li>\n<li>the robot&#8217;s movements must be controlled by means of hold-to-run buttons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>            <\/div>\n        \n        \n                <div class=\"clear-both\"><\/div>\n        \n\n
