This kind of measures are achieved by <strong>eliminating the hazards<\/strong> or <strong>reducing the risk<\/strong> by a suitable choice of <strong>design features<\/strong>. Inherently safe design measures include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>geometrical factors and physical aspects, such as visibility, safe area, injury, ergonomics, mass and velocity of moving parts, noise, vibration, hazardous substances, radiation\u2026<\/li>\n<li>mechanical stresses, materials and their properties and emission values for noise, vibration, hazardous substances and radiation<\/li>\n<li>appropriate technology<\/li>\n<li>positive mechanical action principle<\/li>\n<li>stability<\/li>\n<li>electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic hazards<\/li>\n<li>safety functions implemented by programmable electronic control systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>            <\/div>\n        \n        \n                <div class=\"clear-both\"><\/div>\n        \n\n
